When Yelp reached out to us to photograph an event at a distillery with dogs we were like this is a no brainer. Dogs, booze, music, and fun people?? DUH! We're in! Any event with Yelp is a guaranteed good time, so Yelp Indy if you're reading this we're available for future events! Last night Yelp partnered with 8th Day Distillery to show off their new tasting room WHICH IS DOG FRIENDLY. They have been distilling their own spirits for the past two years. You may have tried one of their drinks at your favorite watering hole, but now you can visit them at their new tasting room from 4pm-10pm on Fridays and Saturdays. And trust me, after the drinks they were serving up we will be back! They featured a Gin Gimlet and it was DELISH! The drinks aren't the only thing we will be craving for awhile. LICK ice cream, Bop Bakery, and Soupremacy were also vendors handing out the most fantastic human treats! My fingers are still crossed that I'll win that free panini. And for the pups there was Three Dog Bakery, Dapper in the City, FACE, and Mended Hearts. We got to mingle with so many fun people who all have kick ass dogs. If I could have, I would have taken every one of those pups home with me last night. At the very least for a slumber party (and yes we would all have on matching pajamas). I also wanted to give a shout out to Alex Franc Music for keeping us entertained last night with some awesome tunes! We had such a blast and can't wait to bring our puppies back to the tasting room to hang out and drink some more tasty cocktails!
Not only do we shoot four legged furry babies, we love photo shoots that involve two tiny legs and ten tiny toes. Let us tell you, there is nothing better than capturing a baby giggling. Here are some recent photos of all the little cutie pies we've been capturing this summer.
JAKE AND JOSH
It's Fall Y'all! Everyones favorite time of the year weather you want to admit it or not! As photographers, IT'S THE BEST TIME OF YEAR. The color of the leaves, the lighting, and getting to see all of our favorite peoples for family shoots. The foliage always makes for a great photograph but who says that your fall photos have to have leaves in the background? Colored walls are to die for and a great alternative from the norm. Think of the possibilities for your Christmas cards! GAME CHANGER!
Now go curl up on the couch with your pumpkin spice and enjoys this preview of Fall Photos.
Guess what everyone?? YOUR TWO FAVORITE MOTHER PUPPERS ARE BACK! I know you all missed us dearly. We missed you too! Life got crazy, we both popped out some kids, but now we are back and ready to dominate the pet photography world! We have been working on some new modern shots with your pets. We had many lovely volunteers to help us put this portfolio together for you all to see. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do! We are in the works of building a studio shed where we hope to photograph your furry (or furless) creatures all day long. Our goal as a company is to not only capture photographs of your loves, but to give back to the animal community. During the months of October and November we will be giving 5% of our proceeds to the Indianapolis Humane Society.
"Being a mother doesn't mean being related to someone by blood. It means loving someone unconditionally with your whole heart."
We don't care what anyone says, dog moms are moms too and today is the day to celebrate all things mom! We got together with a few of the awesome dog (and human) moms we know to create this blog post dedicated to all the loving moms out there. Keep up the good work ladies!
Wine and pups? Yes please!
On Friday, April 29th we were invited to attend Wine Wags and Whiskers, a charity event hosted by the Humane Society for Hamilton County. There was wine tastings, a silent auction and of course, adoptable pets! A ton of money was raised for our local Humane Society, but there was also a lot of fun to be had. They had amazing food to try and a photo booth with all the props you could ever hope for. We had such a great time photographing this event and want to say a big thanks to the Humane Society for Hamilton County for once again asking us to participate!
Time to get your stretch on!
Yesterday was our Down Dog at the Park yoga event and we couldn't have asked for a better day! The sun was out and tails were waggin' as Kristin Sands led us all in a relaxing yoga session in Highland Park. We met a ton of cute pups and some awesome people who won some awesome prizes. We are so grateful to all of the contributors who donated to our Wag Bags that were raffled off; Rescue Strong Supply Co., Camping with Dogs, I and Love and You Pet Foods, Puppy Playground, and Flat12 Bierwerks. All of these great, not to mention dog-friendly companies, helped us put together the amazing prize bags that we raffled off to raise money for Every Dog Counts Rescue! We had such a great time at this event and we can't wait to do another, so keep your eyes and ears open for details on our next Down Dog at the Park yoga event for you and your pup!
Grab your green and your pup, it's time to party!
St. Patty's Day is coming up fast and as two Irish girls we have to say this is one of our favorite holidays! One thing we love to do for St. Patrick's day, aside from dress up our pups for our photographic pleasure, is party with our local firemen. Firefighters across the country have adopted this holiday as a time to celebrate their brotherhood and camaraderie. Well, if you didn't already know, our family is full of firemen and every year we love to join in on this celebration. The Carmel Fire Dept. has once again partnered with Brockway Pub to host this event right in the heart of Carmel. Another thing we really love about this event is that it is very pup friendly! Many people bring along their canine companions as most of the activities take place outside and there is plenty of access to food and drinks. So if you are wondering what you and your pup can do to celebrate St. Patrick's Day together this year, come to Brockway Pub on Old Meridian in Carmel on March 19th, the party goes on all day! Look for FETCH while you're there and don't forget to wear your green!
